Every year, we recognize one exceptional Club member as our Youth of the Year — BGCA's most prestigious member honor. It goes to the young person who demonstrates outstanding academic performance, service to the Club and community, and the strength to turn personal challenges into personal growth.

For Whittier, this isn't just an award ceremony. It's a community celebration of what's possible when young people have the right support around them.

BGCW programs are affordable — intentionally. We keep costs low so that no family has to choose between after-school care and putting food on the table. That's only possible because of the donors, sponsors, and partners who stand behind us.
