The Boots & Bright Futures Gala is BGCW's signature annual event — a western-themed evening of cocktails, a live and silent auction, great food, and a community that knows how to celebrate. Now in its 51st year, ✱ the Gala brings together local leaders, longtime supporters, and new friends for a night that directly funds the programs changing kids' lives in Whittier and Pico Rivera.

The Tee Up for Great Futures Golf Tournament is a full day at Friendly Hills Country Club — great golf, good company, and the satisfaction of knowing every swing supports youth programs right here in your community.

Youth of the Year is the most meaningful evening we host all year. It's not a gala or a golf tournament — it's a celebration of what happens when a young person has the right environment, the right support, and the courage to step into their own potential.
Each year, we honor Club members who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, academic achievement, and commitment to their community. Their essays and speeches don't just move the room — they remind everyone in it why this work matters.
Youth of the Year is BGCA's highest member honor. At BGCW, it's one of the most anticipated events in the Whittier community.
